Don’t worry. I’m still alive.

Sorry I’ve been MIA.

The title says it all. For once, I would just like to have everything together; regularly add blog posts, add shops in a timely manner, have all products reviewed in a timely manner as well–everything.

Some people are a “post once a day” kind of person. Then there are those who are a “post once a week” kind of person. Apparently I’m a “post once a month” kind of person.

It’s truly insane how fast time slips by.  We’re already working our way towards the middle of another month. It seems like yesterday I was caught up in all of the pretty “Hello October” posts on Instagram. But, I guess it’s just one of those things. It seems like there are never enough hours in the day {thanks to the ending of Daylight Savings Time we have one more hour!} to do the things that I either want or need to do. And I know a lot of you feel the same way.

Sometimes when I think of all the things I need to do, or want to do, it can be overwhelming. And then that makes me so tired thinking about it, that I just want to curl up, lay in the bed, and do nothing. Sometimes I do. {Bad Alli! Bad!} But, I’ve come to the realization that when I do that, it only makes things worse.

  1. It wastes time.
  2. It adds more stress. (Something that we all can live without. Am I right?)
  3. Which, in turn, doesn’t make you feel so great.
  4. NOTHING gets done.
  5. So then you rushrushrush & tell yourself that you’re never doing that again.
  6. It just cycles all over again.

Which is why I have decided to come up with a schedule. Actually, it’s more of a guide. Why? Because thinking back to my planning post, things don’t happen exactly the same every single day. There are times when you sleep in, stay up late, cancel or make new plans,  or have to go to appointments. Sometimes it’s all of the above. The list goes on and on.

I’m really excited about it. (I get easily excited about lists and schedules..) I’m going to strive to stick to it. It’s still in rough draft form, but if you know me, it will be typed & printed, color-coded, and have multiple fonts for emphasis.😂😂

Something else that motivates me is this scripture…

It’s safe to say that now is most definitely not the time to spend our time unwisely. This scripture didn’t really stick out to me until not too long ago. I guess, somehow, I missed it. Then, once I really noticed it, it seemed everything I read had that scripture quoted, cited, or used the point of it.

Ever since then, this has become one of my favorite scriptures & one that I’ve memorized. And it’s no question why, either. (It’s kinda hard to miss considering that it’s bright pink & lime green but..) After I did this little painting, I wanted to put it where I would see it first thing in the morning & where it would be a constant reminder.  So, I decided to put it on the shelf above where my bed faces.

What about you? Do you have a favorite scripture that serves as a reminder? Or maybe you’ve done a scripture painting? Either way, I’d love to know what it is and/or see it! Feel free to comment below!

Thank you for taking the time to read this post!
